Apocolypse In the Sky

This is the diptic that I did a while ago. This is the first good images I've gotten of both pieces put together. The painting idea came from a nightmare I had that consisted of a blood red blob in a clear blue sky. There was a whole apocolyptic destruction thing going on as well. So I took that and ran with it, trying to make parts of it look like a collage, but not with actual collage elements.
